Acharya Habba, our annual techno-cultural fest, is a three-day extravaganza that offers a vibrant platform for talent showcases, music, and cultural collaborations, enhancing students' college life. The festival, launched in 2005, has become one of Bangalore's biggest college events, hosting over 50,000 guests in 2025.

Events such as multicultural Ethnic Day celebrations, Canvas Painting, Face Painting, Clay Modeling, Western and Classical Singing and Dance showcases, Faculty Talent Events, Cooking Events, Habbathon, Treasure Hunt, Coding Competitions, Cosplaying, Open Mic Events for Poetry Recitals, and Comic Stand-Up Acts are some of the highlights of Acharya Habba.
Various Sports Leagues in Basketball, Volleyball, Kabaddi, and Acharya Premier League (Cricket) keep attendees on the edge of their seats.
Renowned musicians like Gurukiran and Benny Dayal have previously graced the stage at the festival. Numerous talented artists have brought art and music to life at Acharya Habba, showcasing their creativity along with various cultural displays by students.
The 2026 edition of Acharya Habba was officially launched at the Acharya campus with the arrival of Chopper and the symbolic moment of Simba finding his pair, marking the beginning of the institute’s much-awaited annual cultural festival and the best college fest in Bangalore. The main celebrations from April 8–11 will transform the campus into a vibrant hub of talent, innovation, and competition. This year, Acharya will also proudly host the VTU Youth Festival, bringing together students from across institutions in a grand showcase of creativity and culture.
From the Grand Auto Show, Soap Box Racing, and the Simba Bike Rally to the high-energy Student of the Year Championship, Under25 Summit, Ideathon, Fashion Show – El Señor & La Señorita, gaming tournaments, creative arts competitions, and cultural performances, Habba promises an unforgettable experience for every student.
Adding to the excitement, the festival will culminate with a spectacular live concert by Neeti Mohan, making this celebration truly electrifying and reaffirming Acharya Habba as the best college fest in Bangalore.
